Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Hi Chris,
If you really want to interact with the board and NJRC members, the best way is to come to a few monthly meetings. It's the best way to get to know everyone. Having 3 posts and asking to do a group buy is pretty tall order. The internet is a big scary place, so you have to forgive us...
Good Luck Steve, that's a lot of work! I have a big rubbermaid tub here, It's probably only 30 gallons, you're welcome to borrow it. I'm happy to see that you're not throwing in the towel...You're system has been an inspiration to a lot of us in the club....
I'm having an aiptasia problem too...
Yes, that's where I got it from. Keep in mind that you need to be very careful not to get bubbles in it when you are putting it on. I didn't sand between coats either (well, I did with the stain, not the polycrylic)
Thanks everyone!
That's a funny sign, I wish they would publish what new methods they have for removing algae! I could use it!
Atlantis was beautiful, it's definitely somewhere to check out at least once. I'm not sure I would go back anytime soon...it's really expensive, especially the...
I learned this the hard way...When I was about 6 or 7 there was a BlueJay's nest on top of my friends house...so being typical kids, we started throwing rocks at it...
They flew down at us like 2 F-16's. I swear if we didn't run they would have just stabbed us with their beaks! So, needless to...
Wow! That's great to hear (and see!) Calling them has to be hilarious... How long will they stay near your house? That would be cool if they hung out all year!
I don't store any saltwater, I basically mix it up, wait a few hours and then do the water change. I know this isn't considered "proper" but it's what I've been doing and so far it works.
Yeah, that had to be one of the worst storms I have seen in a long long time. The lightning is what actually woke me up...It was so bright and constant...I thought Steve68 snuck into our house and was snapping candid shots of us in our sleep :P We even had our shades down! Remarkably, our dogs...
I think something that describes changes in salinity due to evaporation. I've heard too many people saying that they top off with saltwater instead of freshwater.
I would use a light grit sandpaper (220ish) and then wipe it down with a tack cloth. I used Polycrylic for my final (4) coats on my stand and canopy.
If you want a hand sander, I have one you could borrow.
That's where I bought mine from. Such a cool fish, I had to make him my Avatar.
Will may not see this, you might have better lucking posting about it in their forum.
