Yeah, If it's later in the day I can make it...otherwise it might be tough. Weekday deliveries suck! When then delivered mine I was lucky that the truck had a lift gate and pallet jack..They were able to put it in my garage.

diy overflow mounted on back of tank

When we drilled my tank (We being Steve68 and Tiler) We used Duct Tape to create a dam around the hole we were drilling, that helped to keep the water in there, although you will need to add more as you drill and the water starts pouring out of the hole you are making. I wouldn't worry about a...

diy overflow mounted on back of tank

If you really wanted 4 sided viewing you could make the drains in the middle of the tank. Then all the plumbing could run underneath the tank. It would give you viewing of all 4 sides but may look a little weird.

diy overflow mounted on back of tank

I think placement soley depends on where you would like it. Your best bet is probably right in the middle, as wide as you can make it. Some people go the "coast to coast" route. (entire lengtht of the tank) If I had the room for it I probably would have done that myself.

diy overflow mounted on back of tank

I have both of these kinds of overflows in my system, My fuge has the hole with a bulkhead and my display tank has an external overflow. The hole just seems silly to me, It can get clogged VERY easily, and if I turn up the flow it gets REALLY noisy..sounds like someone sucking the last bit of...

Flow rate for Ca reactor and CO2 regulator

I bought the GenX Co2 gauge and needle valve. The only input I can give is don't buy that brand, the needle valve is terrible! I too use my Aquacontroller to control my reactor. For my tank I have my bubble count as one per second (or thereabout) and the flow meter is set to 3ml for the effluent.
