i want to run some chaeto in my biocube. i have 3 sections in the back. section 1 is my heater, section 2 is my intank filter tray (no additional room in that) and section 3 is my pump. i dont know how good it would do near the heater or the pump. i think the pump section is a bad idea...

i have read that pc lights are good for 12-14 months, is that not right? is it only 6 months. i dont mind buying them every 6 months if that is what will keep my tank healthy.
