I see posts for quarantine and dips. Question I have what if you don't have room for a quarantine tank? I can't even fit a 10g anywhere right now. What do you dip the corals in? Especially if you can't see anything and want to be cautious. Would a FW dip be the route? I assume FW would have to...
Brando,
Ya never know. I said that about New England but I was 15 years old at the time now I am in my late 40's.
Rod,
Don't jump on the band wagon support your team even if it is Philly. I will be nice as my daughter went to school and still lives in Philly.

Only my son would see a box turtle trying to cross 195 on the way home from Ice Cap today. Good thing as it would have surely been hit. Unfortunately, it's pretty sick with what appears to be an eye infection and respitory problem. So will be nusring it until it is healthy enough to be relaesed.
Should have been at the IceCap meeting today. Ken spoke briefly about this. I thought RTN was a white band on the coral your sounds like bleaching. A pic may help more experienced people diagnosis your problem.
I dose old school, manually. I mix half a teaspoon of kalk in a 16oz glass jar and dump 5ml into my sump daily. I have to remix the kalk every 2 weeks.
Wouldn't it ne better to siphon out as much Cyano as possible before using Red Slime Remover. This will prevent a large die off and not foul the tank to much hopefully.
You can also get fresh garlic cloves and set them in the tank to saturate the water. I have hung 4 cloves in 55g tank. Some fish will peck at it but the idea is for it leach into the water. Your skimmer may go nuts with this approach.
Most meds are not invert safe. I doubt the shrimp will get rid of all the ich on your fish. You may need to quarantine the fish and treat separately. There is a product called "No Sick Fish" suppose to be reef and invert safe but is expensive. I have no idea how good it is.
Here is an article...

Was moving rocks around to make room for some new coral and left my K4's turned on. After 30 mins of getting everything right the way I wanted it. I stepped back and notice an orange flash on the back side of a K4. I get a net and push it out and my flame angel was stuck to the side the whole...
Maybe to obvious but I turn mine inside before washing. I use a small amount of bleach in the washer with them. They are easier to manipulate when wet. I let them air dry for several days before using.
I did that with a 75g I used for box turtles before setting up a pen outside. Exactly as stated before a razor blade works well. Be careful you don't scratch the glass like I did. I cut small pieces of plexi-glass and glued top bottom
with aquarium silicone, you can glue bottom instead or both...
Clove / glove polyps have eight tentacles protruding from the stalk.

I would like some if they aren't all gone.
