I can't go - but looking up continental.com - there's a later flight...

Tracy Roberts, 33, of Rockville, Md. tests to see if the fish will be interested in her hand as well, as her toes are nibbled on by a type of carp called garra rufa, or doctor fish, during a fish pedicure treatment at Yvonne Hair and Nails salon in Alexandria, Va. on Thursday July 17, 2008...
I know you're moving the heater - but another reason (if you need) is in case the anemone decides to walk and attach to the heater. if the heater kicks on, it means certain burn...possible infection/death later. You could cover the heater with pvc - Same goes for the pumps - will need some kind...
the subject of this tank thread needs to change - I don't see anything boring at all! great tank - thanks for sharing it! What kind of salt mix do you use?
A woman looks at balloon lumpfish sitting on balloons at Shinagawa Aqua-Stadium aquarium in Tokyo Tuesday, July 8, 2008. The colorful 'Eumicrotremus pacificus,' commonly found in the deep sea near the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, attach themselves to rocks in the water via a sucker disk...
too small to be of any danger. No experience with them but in my opinion - I'd be more concerned about the "pom poms" dying (or getting lost when it molts) and then you would just have a crab (minus pom poms).
Then again - if you have like a 3 gallon display - I would think you don't have much...
hey what kind of clam is that - i noticed it's blue and in the substrate - is that a maxima/crocea that you put some LR under? or a funky squa/deresa that has a blue mantel?
Jim - from your thread, (and maybe I misread or assume) - but it appears that Dr. Mac's LR was nicely encrusted and in the size you wanted. What about the waltsmith? It looked great but perhaps not in the sizes you wanted?
hmmmm- I just picked up ReefInvertebrates by Fenner/Calfo and on page 170 they talk about feeding dusters and it's not very optimistic.
Lets just try something like DT's live phyto and see if that helps. There's also phytofeast or phytofeastlive that I know at least two or three other people on...
ah...a topic not about lights or skimmers! lol.
The closest you can get to an identification of a hitcher crab is family...don't even try genus or species. That family would be the Xanthidae Family.
Some crabs in the xanthid family are actually friendlies - like the pompom crab. But the...
hate to be the bearer of bad news - but if the duster popped it's top - it's basically starving. That top is a complicated fleshy method for them to capture food (phyto). If there's not enough food - it will get rid of the top (since it takes a lot to maintain) and grow another. It cannot do...
Welcome to NJRC!
What size tank and what kind of inhabitants? Looks like a maroon clown? also I see some cool feather worms...just be sure you feed them!
