One of my favorite cleanup crew. Always have a couple in the tank. Take care of a variety of algae and the appetite is just unbelievable. Never harmed any coral even though one like to rest of Sps branches.

I have done more shopping online now than visiting local stores. If it weren’t for the busy weekend I would’ve visited trop and ACC though. Have not bought anything for the tank as I contemplate what the next build is going to be.

I have a lot on the rocks, the yellow variety. Angelfish are supposed to eat them but I never see one does.

It’s turbulent in front of the PH but not splashing. You can also try one of these directional powerheads like a maxjet. Just don’t point at the corals.

Always tricky to achieve a good flow pattern for a shallow tank. In my 80 breeder which is 17” tall I run one mp40 at about 50%. On the remote side the flow is weak. But I put low flow corals there. Have you tried two mp10 on the back wall? Maybe try one and see how the flow bounces off the...

Mike you know I have a hybrid T5 + LED. I suspect the T5’s are doing the major weight lifting base on the PH change before and after the bulbs are turned on. So if you want to add LED it’s pretty much cosmetic. I would go with 4 b+, 1c and 1p. I think the 6 bulbs really is a great fixture you...

Mine is probably 3 years old now. I got it from MarkC who knows how old it is. I lost one before after keeping it for about 2 years again someone gave it to me not knowing how old it was.

I have been moving corals around. Flow can’t be too strong for these soft corals.

Very nice fish and out and about all the time. Only pick on SPS so will be great for a softie tank.

Looks like some nice growth on the sps. You can bump the nitrate up a bit. Always make me nervous when it’s zero.

Low light for this coral. Not a watermelon chalice though.

I had planted before. CO2 injection and all. Can’t deal with the weekly trimming. Lots of maintenance.

Fish only is boring unless you’re really into the tough to keep fish.
