If you are still shooting with the Ipod/Ipad, the lighting gels have been working great for me. 5$ is a good price.

Cutting them works the best, though I am sure you can probaly cover the tubes with epoxy or something similiar.

Relatively recent convert to tropic marin as well, I buy it by the bag now. I loved Salinity by seachem, but it takes forever to mix clear and left a terrible residue on the inside of the mixing container.

George, they are not big enough to cover a whole a DLSR lens. However, you can buy these gels on amazon which are much bigger and will easily fit over the camera. I ordered 2 through amazong so my next move will be to cut one down and see how it looks with my DSLR. The problem with amazon, is...
