I have no personal experience with sun corals but I hear they can be difficult. Also hear they like low light and low flow but again that just what I have heard. I am more following to see what others say cause I been thinking of getting some myself.

I use a 5gal bucket from Lowes. I just drilled a hole in the lid and it been working great for me.

I would be game for one. If you move forward with these it would be nice to post a mockup so we have an idea what they would look like.

I am in agreement of the masses. The mat opens up issues such as water, dirt, tripping, etc... Your better off with what @art13 suggested if your concerned about the wood floor. Just don't get those 'sliders' or you might send your tank sliding across the room lol

Looking good man. I totally agree with " That is how I ended up with my 54 corner tank. I was in hunt for a new stand (I had my 36g tank sitting on a stand made for a 20g tank) when I saw the corner tank. I liked it but keep focus on task at hand. My wife wouldn't stop talking about it...

I agree. I started with Zoas myself. They are nice looking corals and easy to care for.
