I have a 36g bow front and a 54g corner (front glass is bow). I use the small mag float. it hugs the glass the best but problem is it disconnects if I move too quickly.

@whitebear1020 they seem to be doing well. My lights are in Acc mode so the light is slowly (over 7 days) ramping up. The heads are much fuller than what is in this picture. When my lights are back at full I will try and get a better picture. Thanks again

If you want it connect to the stand maybe do a false wall type deal. Mount the equipment to a board, drill holes to run the wires behind the board and then connect the board to your stand/wall. This make it look cleaner; you could go crazy as well and add LED light stripes to give it a nice glow.
