Call me simple but I don't really have a fav or "oh I got to get" I really do like birdnest but really I like all corals. Each have their own draw.

Today I did a large maintenance on my tank. Replaced the GFO, the carbon, swap filter sock, clean skimmer, water change, etc.. As I was powering everything back up my main return pump did not turn back on. I was concerned that it took a dump but pulling it out and doing a very good cleaning...

I have always heard not to chase pH but to keep it as stable as you can.

Agree with @art13. My pH goes between 7.8 and 8.1 depending on the week (I only test weekly right now) I noticed during the time my windows are shut my pH is lower and when my windows are open my pH is higher. I'm sure you guys know but the level of CO2 in your room affect the pH.

nice. Have you tried opening a window or running a line from your skimmer to outside? This should help raise your pH without the buffer

By any chance does anyone have a Kessil A360 control cable that they no longer need/want? Either for third party or the Kessil controller? The reason I am asking is I am thinking I might be able to control the light via my DYI controller. I need to cut the cable and see if I can wire it up...

I tried making my own food with shrimp, scallops, and flounder. I could see my fish spitting out some of the food but eating other parts. Have you noticed that with your fish?

I use CoralRX and I have use Revive for dipping my corals.
