Not sure how safe krylon is but I know of a company called "plasti-cote,same type of paint and called the company and they said not saltwater safe(I wanted to paint magnets)if krylon is safe for saltwater,I will use that.I will cont to follow this thread,gd luck in yr search :)
I would be going straight from the sump up to the tank,maybe a mag 9 would be ok,I have a mag 9 on my 90 now,wondering if thats too small(?) On the 90 I have a 1 1/2 pvc elbow(bulkhead fitting) top left hand side and goes to the sump below kinda a diy seems to be ok,but someone said that wasnt...
Planning on getting a 75 gal tank,not reef ready and was wondering whats the best way to get overflows installed in the tank,I dont really like the overflow box's,would rather see the corner inserts(?) any ideas,opinions or leads would help. And also would a mag 12 pump be ok for a 75? ???
I think its hit or miss,I've had dwarfs in other coral tanks,and had great success,got along well and never touched a coral.Now I have a flame in my current reef,and regret ever putting him in..picks on everything,along with a damsel,they cost 3 times in damage then they are worth.Good luck with...
I'd put on 175 mh's yr choice of kelvins,use the pc's as the supplemental's..( hunching over and yelling"More power master" we need more power")lmao catch ya later Mike
In the past when I needed to cut acrylic sheets I have used a wet tile saw,makes clean cuts and the plastic shards dont fuse to the sheet...or maybe a jigsaw may work...hope this helped some :)
Wondering if you'll be adding cheato to the sump? live sand in the tank?Live rock should have some critters as well...I had a site bookmarked for live critters..I will send you a pm.
