PH just arrived. Rinsed, assembled and in place. A bit bulky but the tank is only 20g. Seems to be working well as I see movement all over.
These guys are smart. They immediately hung out by intake and out take of PH and grab what ever floats by. Will move coral around for better flow.
Since I started adding coarl to the seahorse tank I noticed the HOB flow is not enough for them; sinularia type coral. They are flopped over but extended.
I was going to add a nano powerhead for the coral and saw this 160 GPH; tank is 20g. What are thoughts on adding a PH as I don't want to...

Went to ACC to get some dry sand but they no longer sell it; only have live sand.
I want large grain of dry for the seahorse tank. Any suggestions where to get some.

Been told to cap the bottom 4 holes but seems crazy if I can use them.
Searching I could not find this setup.
So should I use two pumps? 1 for sump and 2nd external for closed loop?

Why do we perform water changes? The answer I think depends if your tank is reef or fish only.
If a reef we want to have clean water, no nitrate, phosphate, ammonia and to replenish trace elements.

Was out with my grandson today and stopped at let store. They had a very nice Copperband for a steal. Said was eating pellets but it did not eat them or frozen food in my presence so I passed.
Anyone have experience with these guys. I really wanted but was concerned about not eating.
