I feed a little bit of food 2-3 times a day. All my fish look very healthy. I use to only feed 1-2 times a day but my coral beauty nips too much for that. Found the more I split the food up during the day the happier the wole tank seems

I been using chemi pure sice I started reefing, and still am. I also run a berlin style system with no filter bags just my skimmer. Because of this the chemi bags get filled with junk and i'm tired of rinsing them. Is there a reactor I can put them in? Any certain model better than another for this

Just wondering if there is a general rule of how much to feed your fish? I heard stuff like ... give them enough food that equals to the size of their eye. Is there any science behind it at all? Somethin like a 1/4 teaspoon for a 4" tang , any measure for it?

Just wondering what kind of cleaning magnets people have and if they like them. I have the large magfloat and think it's good. Was wondering if anyone has those wood ones like the tiger shark or any of those, are they better than a magfloat? I don't see how one cleaner can really be better than...

Is anybody keeping one? I know they can be jumpers. How are they with digging in the sand? I have high flow and haven't gotten any gobies yet cause I don't want them filtering the sand and it blowing all over my corals. Do the blue spots just dig a hole and stay in it?

Pics are to hard for me on here. Sorry. You can get a ball valve at ace, home depot, or lowes. Its white pvc with a red or blue handle. You turn the handle across the pipe to close and put it in line with the pipe to open. Marine depot and foster smith have them too.

Ric I wasn't so clear on my first post. All the stuff I was saying was about the zeovit products. If you go that route they have a lot of products you can use. My point was that they even tell you that you should use they're salt and carbon. Which I think is ridiculous. Then it can get really...

I don't know it was brand new. Plumbed everything and had my sump full. Pumped the water into the tank and after prob 500 gallons through the pump the shaft seal went and I had water all over the place. Being it was the shaft seal all the water the pump can pump out of my sump and all my drain...

Wow what are you using 1/2" acrylic for? I don't think HD will cut that for you. The one by me def won't. Try a cabinet shop or furniture maker, maybe a glass shop. You need a table saw with a trim blade for stuff that thick, I think it's too thick to score and snap
