14 k phoenix in my opinion will be more blue than other 14k's but still bright, Great bulb!. Sometimes you just don't notice the bulb changing colors during break in because you see them everyday. Usually it will take a 100 hours for a bulb to show it's true color.

I would never run any saltwater tank with no skimmer reef, fish only whetever it may be. Not only do they remove a ton of gunk but they really oxygenate the water good too.

I had an etss evo 500 on my 120 and it was pretty stocked. Only complaint i have is it needed a mag 9.5 to run it. Newer style skimmers are a bit more effecient. But with the pump it should be well under 500

Inverts and such are usually right at home . Fish on the other hand you will notice they might take a day or 2 to adjust. Then they'll start their routines.

Yea it's very easy. Thicker glass is actually even easier because it won't break as easy. Redfish that's usually my pitch...LOL, The kits are great! And great customer service
