Jim were the 15k xm? I found them very dim to my taste. If you like the blue , like i do, and the reeflux 12 k aren't doin it try the pheonix 14's. I found them to be very blue and yet still bright. Pics are great by the way!

Pheonix 14k is a nice all around bulb. IMO. it's very blue and still very bright. Think it's the brighter of the 14k's

I run 2- 10k reeflux and 2- 12k reeflux both 250w se and supplement with 2- 6' vho actinic. I would like a bit more blue and might look into some led down the road. 20k bulbs do have a nice color to them but keep in mind they aren't very bright , they weren't bright enough for me anyway. Maybe...

I was missing a damsel for months till I found him in a overflow. It was like a whole different tank in there, fish, crab, snails, mini dusters, lol it was funny

Your not suppose to tumble it so it breaks down. Just the top of media might move a bit. Nothing violent. I believe there is a foam filter in most reactors to catch debris like that

Just make sure you rinse it good, Jersey Shore LOL
