Good point, good point. I think the bottom line is .... If you run a tank with no skimmer and coral and inverts, etc in it look ok, they would prob look even better with a skimmer. A skimmer cant do anything bad to your tank. Maybe if you had that giant skimmer from macna hooked up to a nano...

Thanks fish- I have a brs reactor and the carbon can't move cause its sandwiched between two foam pads. So i converted cups to gallons and timed it. Took a little playin wit the ball valve but i have it set at about 120 gph

I did not realize you only had a 14 gallon tank. You may want to just pull the rock out after all. Just fill a couple buckets with water from your tank and pull some rocks out. I didn't know you han a nano I thought you had a ton of rock

+1 Yeah your ok so far. Prob just didn't cycle yet or if your rocks est then you might just do a mini cycle. Raise the sg to around 1.024-1.026 temp around 79, water change maybe 10% every week for now and keep testin before each one

I dont know of glasscages rep good or bad. But i wouldn't judge buy a tank thats in a store. Everyone does nice work when its getting that much exposure. Also a frag tank isn't deep at all so there;s not much pressure, i wouldn't go by that either. just my opinion ;) What are the horror stories...
