    What is your specific gravity? The fluctuation in temp is a problem too. You want everything as stable as can be in a reef. The temp should be around 78- 81. The coraline might be bleaching from the over abundance of salt , who knows?

    There is iwaki japan and iwaki American, both iwaki but the japan is suppose to be better and it cost more than the comparable iwaki American. Blue line is comparable to iwaki because their engineer use to be the head of iwaki, supposedly ? As far as pan world... they are identical to blueline...

    Ah even the little ones are killers, it's in their blood. I started out with mostly small ones and a few big ones. Just this week i took out 2 huge ones and put them in my sump. They were wearing 3 $ turbo shells. They grow up quick. In the long run it's just all part of reefin ;D

    Yeah you need to drill or have a overflow box for a sump. Unless you put it above your tank, and put your return pump in your tank, and let the sump drain in to your display. But that could be messy and a little tricky to set up.
