I think so. I'd set up the voetech's then see if there's any dead spots. If there is i'd use a cheap wave strip and some maxi jet's. The con with the vortech is that you can't angle them
I know them as sand crabs. Go where the waves roll up on the beach and start diggin you'll find them. all over the jersey shore. I wouldn't trust them in a reef!
I'm usually on here around that time too LOL. Like I say reefers are the craziest!!!
Auto Top Offs are the way to go. Keeps your salinity the same all the time. No fluctuations cause it adds a little at a time. I have a tunze and love it.
Putting your hands in the water does stop your skimmer from foaming. I use to notice it with my old setup. Whenever I would work on the tank moving rocks and such my skimmer wouldn't foam. Also when some people feed the skimmer reacts to it. Lots of variables involved with a skimmer.....
I...
Yeah alot of flow. A current from one end and then when that stops a current from the other end to get the backsides of the rocks your first current couldn't get. That drove me nuts in my 120 but I finally got it to work.
i use a very small hook and some fishing line. Put a small piece of krill on it and go fishing! Worked for me on a small panther, Trigger, and Purple tang. This is the only way I could get them out. No way was i taking my rock out. I wish they made a mini speargun for this
