Definitly take as much out as you can. Water , rock , sand if you have a lot. Better off spendin a few extra hours instead of crackin the tank

I don't think 2 cubes is a lot of food for those fish. You said flakes too but they're more like a treat. The Nori seems ok. I'd try giving them more of the frozen stuff too. I'd dip it and keep it in low light low flow and see what happens. You said it started the decline after a couple of days? It might just not be taking to your tank?

You can get aquarium sealant from petco. Or GE silicone 1 from home depot. If you get the GE make sure it does not have the anti mold stuff in it. You can't use anything anti mold or bacteria just make sure it doesn't say anything on the tube

Try garlic yet? Are they eating what you put in? How big are they and how much you feeding them?
