Hey sub, if it's any consolation, when I added my bi-color angel, my scopas tang took the opportunity to be "the boss" of something (since the little mini-mighty tomato clowns showed him who was boss straight away). He was relentless for about a week or two.
I upped his nori feeding and added...
One thing you have to remember about politics:
Break up the word:
Poly (poli) = Many
tics (ticks) = Blood Sucking Insects
When did "Public Servant" become a lifetime family career with instant increased wealth?
*sigh* I fear for our country in another 100 or so years... :(
Here's the really scary part.
2003: Purchase price: $92,000 - Tax assesment structure and ground $78,000 (approximately)
Just 2 months ago a house on a 150x125 lot with no garage and only one floor with 3 BR and 1 ba just around the corner from me sold for (ready?) $257,000 !!!
Mine is 3 br...
If it were me, I'd stay far away. Mott is right. The taxes are out of control. We are basically held hostage by one of the most screwed up corrupt state governments out there. Hell, our governor held the state hostage to get the tax hikes he wanted.
Put it this way. I bought my house in 2003...
Hehe. Already got you on the list David. Soon as I get brave (although tonight's accidental fragging got me closer! LOL!) and can figure out how to get it to you, I'll let you know. Your first in line buddy! ;D
Yeah, much to my wife's chagrin, I am well on my way! I bought some basic tools in the last PA buy, and I have 2 or 3 dremels already (wood working is a hobby of mine), so once I build up enough stock, I'll be fragging away!
BTW, if you want a piece of that Acro Horrida I got from Ed at ILC...
Frags are sweet, mounted and in the tank. Great guy to deal with!
Got to see the Solaris in person. Thanks for showing that to me, that thing is VERY cool.
Although, as I mentioned in my other post, I accidentally ended up with 6 frags! LOL! 3 tiny branches snapped off the larger of the frags...
Cool, I'll check them out over there. Been happy with Premium Aquatics prices and service so far.
Just got some frags from Ham tonight (Thanks Ham!), so I just mounted those on small pieces of rock rubble out of my sump. But I think I want to check into the frag mounts so I don't deplete my...
Ok, now I'm even more impressed. I was going to direct John to Lowes to buy the decorative molding parts, but holy patient routing batman, you routed that yourself?
I second Ham on the egg crate. Cuts easily with a dremel, and you can cut out notches for things like power cords, etc. Inexpensive and very effective at keeping wrasses from jumping out!
Thanks everybody, good tips. Once I get brave enough, I'll let you know how it works out. :)
I have the glue (bought from the group buy in anticipation) and just have to get some frag plugs or something. I've seen several options on the net.
I'll try to get some pics later on and let you guys...
Ok, I know, alot of questions..
How long can this thing be reasonably out of the water to frag?
How many frags would you recomend taking at one time? Is this something that should be done one piece at a time over a length of time?
Branches are definitely thin. I am considering fragging it since it is so large. I guess I just have the jitters about it surviving if I screw up.
Can you suggest what to mount the frags to?
