It's not a bad little camera for what my wife uses it for. HP 707. It's 7.1 mp, but only has a 3x zoom. It's what I call a "pocket camera". Dad has the Nikon D70 right now.

Hey Carlo, thanks. The color is WAY off. In reality, it is much more purple than that, and you can clearly see the neon green specks on the tips. The point and shoot camera just washed it out.

Looks like your receiver doesn't have a passthrough and your tv only has one set of component hookups. You could take the receiver out SVideo to the TV, and then run the DVD player to the TV Component. That's assuming it has the capability to use both at the same time. Some smaller units do...
