Need to run an CFGI outlet, need help.

My house was scary when I bought it. The entire house was running off of 2 30 amp FUSES. One ran the 220 volt lines (stove, dryer, heater/boiler, hot waterheater) the other ran EVERYTHING ELSE. That was the first thing I ripped out. When I replaced the service, I installed a 200 amp box, and...

Need to run an CFGI outlet, need help.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be condescending. I learned along time ago in consumer electronics field to never assume any step is understood. ;D (you know, it's the old PC tech issue where the tech always starts with "is it plugged in".) ;D

Need to run an CFGI outlet, need help.

Hey Volk, I'm no expert either, but from what I understand (and was told when I did mine) you need EITHER the GFCI breaker OR the GFCI outlet, not both. I installed the outlets, not the breaker. It was cheaper, and everything I was told said it would do the same thing as the breaker, but at the...

Can anyone tell me what this is?

It's not a bad little camera for what my wife uses it for. HP 707. It's 7.1 mp, but only has a 3x zoom. It's what I call a "pocket camera". Dad has the Nikon D70 right now.

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Hey Carlo, thanks. The color is WAY off. In reality, it is much more purple than that, and you can clearly see the neon green specks on the tips. The point and shoot camera just washed it out.

    My new addition

Yep. I checked him out. He has a bigger tank in his future. The living room remodel is scheduled for next year about this time, and that will include a custom tank. Right now, he's only about 3 1/2 inches or so.

    My new addition

I know, someone is gonna set off the alert and call out the tang police, but I couldn't help myself. I added a clown tang today: (sorry for the picture quality, that little bugger is TOUGH to get to pose, especially with this crappy point and shoot!)...

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Here is a pathetic attempt at a photo of the Horrida with a point and shoot (Dad has the Nikon again... :( )

    Yet another fish question

Anyone have luck keeping multiple Royal Grammas? I've been doing some reading, and apparently if you can come across one larger fish and 2 or 3 smaller juveniles, you have a good chance of developing a mated pair that will build nests and spawn in captivity. Any thoughts? Tank Info: 90 gallon...

    Siliconing the baffles

Re: Sliconing the baffles When I did mine I did the middle first. I used a sharpie on the outside of the glass (wipes off glass easily when done) to get my lines even on both sides. I installed the middle baffel and let it completely dry. Reason? I had it on a 1" block to make sure it didn't...

    HDTV/Receiver/VCR Hookup

Looks like your receiver doesn't have a passthrough and your tv only has one set of component hookups. You could take the receiver out SVideo to the TV, and then run the DVD player to the TV Component. That's assuming it has the capability to use both at the same time. Some smaller units do...

    is this camera good?

Hey Tom. I've used both the Rebel and the Nikon D70. In point and shoot mode, in bright settings (IE: Outside), the Nikon has a faster response time, and seems more true to the color. In dim settings (IE: Inside with ONLY the onboard flash) the Canon responded faster and with more deep rich...

Ideas for feeding Trigger while away

Thanks Candi. Nowhere near port monmouth. :) I'm in the "deep south". Although, I was going to suggest that you sell them on ebay. Looks like others are doing it and doing pretty well. I guess if there is little cost involved to you, you could build up a small paypal account pretty quickly that...

April 2007 Meeting(S): Thanks and Recap

Looks like I missed another good one. That pic of Rich is priceless! For what its worth, I use a program called "IRFanview" or "ImageConverter Plus" (IRFanview is free, though) to batch process images. It will even read most raw formats (including Nikon and Canon). You can set up the paramters...

Explanation on my recent "rare" appearances

Makes all the sense in the world. I've been through the family drama thing before. I feel that pain. And it just gets worse when there is a crisis. Good thoughts your way!

Ideas for feeding Trigger while away

LOL! You are not the first person to tell me that. I have kept and bred just about every kind of dwarf south american cichlid, successfully bred Discus, kept just about any kind of fresh water and brackish water fish (including dwarf puffers), and now have been pretty successful with salt...

Ideas for feeding Trigger while away

I just looked up those cherry shrimp. I wonder if my Discus would enjoy those. She goes NUTS over live brine. She eats pellets, but begrudgingly. And there is no good source of live brine where I live.
