    Which fish to add?

Rods food if you can find it would be my selection. Mysis would be a solid backup and pretty much every store carries it. Rods has a little bit of everything in it so I just stick to that, and do mysis every now and again. Brine shrimp is up to you if you want to continue it or not, it is always...

    Which fish to add?

I believe what onefish2fish is getting at is that flake and brine do not offer a diversity of food. Brine shrimp are like popcorn, fish love them but they really don't offer too much nutritional value. I have used flake in the past but switched over to mysis and Rods food as they offer a lot...

    Coral Beauty or Flame Angel

I have had both, would also recommend the flame. Coral beauty is more aggressive and I like the coloring of the flame. We have also had a pygmy angel and currently have a flameback. The flamback is doing very well but I have been told they can get a nasty attitude problem when the grow up. Here...

How would you stock my 75g tank?

You probably want to add the fish before the corals. Fish are going to add bioload to your tank and you have to make sure the system can keep up with the waste produced by those fish. Corals really won't change your bioload at all. Add slowly and try to stay away from the impulse buy (I should...

    Which fish to add?

Also make sure your tank is covered for a firefish, they do jump.

    Which fish to add?

Add another perc clown. This way you will have a pair which I think is always nicer. Most angels usually have a 30 g minimum, however we have kept juvenile angels in a 20g. They eat what our other fish eat but we also supplement with nori sheets. A goby would also probably be fine.

10k vs 14K MH bulbs (pics)

Many people want to know what the difference is of appearance of 10k vs 14k bulbs. Recently I upgraded from 10k to 14k phoenix MH bulbs. Here are the pics of the tank with both bulbs so you be the judge. 10k Bulbs: 14k Bulbs: Well there you have it, and if the glass looks dirty that...

    Rod's Food?

Have to jump in here and say we love it as well. We use both the rods food and coral food as well. Fish, inverts, and LPS love the stuff and we pretty much gave up on other sources of food (besides blackworms).

    Got Hair Algae?

You can go with a sea hare, but if you only have a little bit than I would not get one. They can clean out a massive outbreak very quickly and then starve to death. When I was doing some research on the electric blue hermits which is part of the invert group buy juice44 is doing I read on...

    RO/DI water

Not sure where you are located, but most LFS sell RO water. We buy ours for 50 cents a gallon at tropiquarium and might be a good holdover until you get the unit. We will get an RO/DI unit later on but for our nanos the price is right.

    Removing MH bulbs

We have a 250 double ended MH pendant and are trying to take out the bulbs. We cannot figure out how to do this. Is there a trick or are we just that mechanically disinclined? Can someone out of the kindness of their hearts please help us out with this.

How often should you change carbon

From what I have read monthly seem to be the overall concensus under normal circumstances. I change it out monthly as well. I am sure others have differenet schedules, but whatever works best for you is the answer.

Coral Banded Shrimp compatible with other shrimp?

How big is your tank? I have seen and heard of tanks where a coral banded was an upstanding citizen. In our 20g he molted and ate every shrimp smaller than him. We also watched him catch and kill a neon cleaner goby that landed in front of him. We also spot fed him daily to make sure he was...
