In our 30g we try and top off every other day about a gallon. It has an open top and a MH pendant so we need to keep up on it.

Not sure where you live, but tropiquarium sells 5 gallon jugs. They have a screw off top and that is what I am going to use when I setup my ATO eventually. I was going to put the pump on the stand and have the jug on the ground. Was also looking at the exact same setup that you want to buy.

Sometimes our picassos are so buried in the GBTA you can barely see them. Somtimes it is head first sometimes butt first, so nothing to worry about.
