I had a small and I mean small leak on my return pump and one on a bulk head under the tank leaked into the sum anyway I let the tank run and they stopped. salt and what not might seal a small leak is what i'm saying.

I found when doing my 265 I dint like the way it looked everytime I set it up, looked like a bunch of rocks just piled up. Someone told me just to set it up and move any after the fact at a later time. I kinda like it now probably just grew on me.

Sorry about the confusion I think I said that wrong. here is a pic of it almost done. I ment the pipe on the other side was 8" but went into a 1.5 inch pipe to the collection cup. it does have a gate valve that I adjust. the problem Im having is that water just comes out of the beckket not foam...

So I have a huge skimmer I made my self I bought a 1200 GPH pump and It does not run the skimmer at all. It is a Bekket skimmer about 2.5' tall 1.5 inch inlet tube and a 8" outlet tube . Any suggestions on a good pump I can use. I tried to mod the pump but it doesn't work with it. Bobb

I used 1/2inch pvc pipe from home depot cheap and easy. I also glued them to prevent any movement.
