I have used ROX for the last 18 months (before downsizing) and would change out ever 2 weeks. Since it adsorbs more, you can use less. I did 1/2 cup for 110 gallons (90 display + sump) and changed every 2 weeks.

In RODI water, since it is 0 tds, there aren't enough ions to accurately measure PH. PH measurement in RODI water requries equipment outside of the range normally used by Reefers. Once there is *something* in the water (Salt, additives, etc), there are enough ions to get a reading.
