I was rubbing the diatoms off the glass and my cleaner shrimp hopped on my hand and started cleaning. Interesting, untl it got the skin between my fingers and pinched me lol
I was looking at them the other day when I was picking up a couple snails. I 'll probably get the swinging type next trip to the store. I'm taking it slow adding things to the tank so only bought 2 snails -- i read few places you should have 1 snail per 2 gallons.
My one clownfish seems lonely...

I bought about 10 pounds and added it, along with two turbo snails. While I was waiting for my stuff, I was lookinga the pretty corals -- luckily they were nice & expensive...
After a high of >0.25 and <1.5, my tank's ammonia level read 0 today (Nitrite <0.3; Nitrate just under 12.5). My tank is just under 2 weeks old. It can't have cycled already can it have?
I'm hoping you say yes because I REALLY want to get some snails in there to eat some diatoms up. ;)
You might try looking into :
1) Hanover Pets on Route 10 in East Hanover. Their name is misleading because they only have fish stuff. Theres a large sw selection. (They also go by another name but I can't remember it)
