Just recently I read on this board that you should test your final product in a glass, not plastic, as plastic will skew your reading. Run your RODI, take the effluent right into a drinking glass, rinse it a few times, then test with your TDS meter. Let us know where it's at after you do that.

Does what feed Mandarins? I have one. If you're talking about Rod's Food. I've never seen mine eat it but I have a ton of pods so he doesn't have to.

How long has this been happening? What are you using to test your water? Do you have a refugium in your sump? If so are you growing any macro algae? Haw often/much do you feed? Are you using RODI water or Tap water?

Mike go with the QuietOne 6000. It has a 1" out that can be split into the 2 3/4" returns. That's what I have running on my 120 and seahorse tnak with 6 outputs and each puts out a good amount of flow. Here's a drawing of how my tank is plumbed and all out puts have the valves all...
