    Grounding probe ?

Yes, but it might be prudent to check your fixture for salt creep. If the fixture is insulated from the DT by plastic legs, wooden canopy, etc., you are completing the circuit with your arm, and feeling the effects. Electricity will take the path of least resistance, and a direct path to ground...

    Aquarium Center - Blackwood

The Aquarium Center in Blackwood, has the best/nicest inventory I've ever seen there. Tanks are filled with ORA coral items and a lot of nice fish, multiple wrasse, i.e. Labouts, Blue Star, Leopards, etc. Definitely worth the trip.

Apollo Reef LED's... anyone have them?

Very nice George, nicely made fixture. Good luck with them. If they'd had their own controller or worked with he RK's, I would have gone that route myself.

    Snail on a string

Ron Shimek's response: Hi, I have seen the same behavior several times in nature and numerous times in my various aquaria. Anyway, the animal extends a thread of mucus and, on occasion, can drift away on it. Obviously, it depends upon a lot of factors (the animal has to be close to...

    Snail on a string

I was doing a water change yesterday, and had noticed two of them near the surface, that one on the glass and another on the wet side of a mag float I keep on the glass center brace of my tank. While doing the WC I noticed the one that was on the mag float was now on the surface of the...

    Snail on a string

I'm fairly certain it's one of the Columbellids, or Dove snail. It's the behavior that I've never seen before, and I can't find any info on it.

    Snail on a string

Has anyone ever seen a snail on a string? Much like a spider. I have a number of small snails in my tank that I originally thought were baby turbo's, (about 1/4" to 3/8")but now believe them to be one of the Columbellids. On three separate occasions I have seen them hanging and then traveling up...

    Advice/Help

What are you using for test kits? Have you confirmed these readings with someone else? If this is a reef tank both your Ca and Mg are too low, Ca should be about 380 to 420 and Mg should be at least 1200, but 1350 would be better.
