That's all that shrimp eats- and the supply is unlimited haha- not in my tanks though- one year in and i still only have a few- some say they multiply like crazy- just like bristle worms ;)
I would hope so, I see more now than in the past few months, some stores still require them- or Strongly encourage them. If I have to see a dr I'm wearing one ( got covid from one). Any place where there are children- I'm wearing one too
Are you sure you don't have any? I never see any in any of my tanks, except when I move a rock on the bottom or when I take on out and treat it with peroxide- killed 4 today- death by peroxide
I got nothing- do we have a logo? I'd start with that- a rip off pic ( free of course ) fish/ coral etc with the name got my juices flowin- a 3 pack would make my day- 3 different versions of the same thing, maybe with something small somewhere about saving the reefs (
Seems like it will be here for some time- any links for reef themed? Something for us to look into NJReefers.org with a nice piece of coral on it- in the mean time ....
I've been dealing with hair algae for a while- hand pluck, brush rocks- take what I can out of the tank and do the same and treat with peroxide-one problem I've had with the brushing in tank is then having to deal with dinos. I also get hair in the sand, I've been removing it- things seem to be...
" Right Place, Wrong Time"- a Dr John song comes to mind. Started right from the beginning for me- a lfs recommended a neon dotty and a Springer damsel for my new 13g. I've made a bunch of mistakes since then- a 6 line wrasse in the same tank for bristle worm control, trying to get 2 small...
I got back into reefing while recovering from covid when I saw I could have a reef tank with corals. Did some research and bought an AIO 13g- now I have 4 tanks, all are AIO that I built using the same principal of the 13g- 3 chamber on one end, overflow, middle and return- been thinking about...
While waiting for the magnet to arrive, I took a long handle from a bath exfoliating thing and used super glue gel to glue the magic eraser to one side and a piece of the scrubber pad on the other- works great on the back of the tank too- dry hands for coffee and taylor ham time :D
I got it and use it. Sometimes I just don't want to get the arms wet- like in the morning when having my coffee and danish- but it is part of my thinking with the new magnet
Yeah, plus shipping- same price on amazon with free shipping for prime members, mixed reviews, some say it still scratched, others weren't happy with the magnet- I'll try my way with a $6 one
Got a small magnet on order- will use a microfiber towel between the magnet and glass on the outside and thinking a slice of Mr Clean's Magic eraser in between on the inside for every day use, but think I'll have to resort to Scotch Brite hd scouring pads for the harder algae
