Having a hard time finding something that will clean the acrylic and not scratch it- inside or out. I'm wondering if a magnetic cleaner with a non scratch pad ( like one you use in the kitchen ) on both inside and outside would work
I don't any large tanks yet and usually catch it, remove the piece, scrape and treat with lemon juice, then put the piece in the tank with the peppermint shrimp for a while. I can see how it can go undetected in a larger tank- when I finally get my 75 going I'll consider the other options
There are 2 shops local to you ( not counting Petco), that seems like your best bet. I have a yellow watchman but looking to trade not sell. KP has some mated pairs. I got a mated pair of neon gobies from them
Thing I found, not all are jumpers, but jump when fleeing. Had a Falco hawk that chased a pink watchman out of the tank- then I got a yellow Dotty and a lawnmower blenny- chased that bugger right out of the tank- I'll keep a lid/ guard up the next time
I've only been a member for about a year, so ok, I guess, maybe I'm having a senior moment here, but didn't you buy a light from Amado and a sump from Matt recently? I assume you have more than one tank-
I didn't know they were jumpers, a pink damsel harasses everything in the dt- the coris would occasionally break water but held it's own. A couple of days ago I thought that it went to sleep a bit early, never saw it the next day- found it on the floor. Will replace it when I get the 75 g up
I bought 2 about 4 months ago hoping that they would pair up- no such luck. I was able to remove the smaller one about a month ago and it's currently in a 13 gal- eats great and has grown quit a bit. Will post a pic if wanted
No sps corals thank you-
I live in Chester, Morris county NJ
Looking to add to my lighting- can the t5's be regular grow lights, full spectrum or need to be reef specific- big price difference in fixtures/ lights
