I was looking at 2 fixtures. aquatic life t5ho 72" with 8 39w bulbs or current nova pro with 12 39w they both seem to have some type of individual reflectors and I realize I will change out some bulbs. anyone have these? any comments would be appreciated. thank you
I was also thinking of changing from MH. to t5's but more for the electric bill than the look. 72" aqualight with 3-150's and 4 96 watt atinics. to a 72" t5 unit not sure which one current or aquatic life
my nephew works at wegmans and occasionally when they clean a fish or lobster and find eggs they put it aside for me. fish went nuts over the lobster eggs.
do you need a permit to collect here?
I may be wrong but I think its when you leave the country is when you would need a permit. however there may be restrictions. have to check local laws.
yea I could get a new one for $50. then the gravel, then the powerhead. I try to save money wherever I can these days. I had one years ago and threw it out after I changed systems many moons ago. I'm guessing others did the same thing. Oh well I'll give it a little more time then go get one. Thanks
you could go back to the 10's or try 12's. if you have room on top put a small 2 bulb t5 fixture. I have a 150 its 6 ft 18x27 if you count top to bottom more like 25" deep. and I think I have the same fixture. 3-150's 4 pc 90's all 4 are actinic 03 so plenty of blue and the 14's are pretty blue...
If that is all he is eating and you dont have macro algae for him to graze on during the day then I'd say at least once a day. or smaller amounts 2-3 times a day
ATO is one of the best investments I made. I use to wake up in the morning to gurgling sound and add water. come home from work, same thing. Due to powerful return pump (external dolphin) and it,s set up a little high in return section. not much room for evaporation. I was doing 2 gal. a day...
