I could not find the post, but I remember reading a forum on TRT that a few, or maybe one, user mentioned that ground probes will not actually stop you from getting electrocuted?
I've had one... but I haven't gotten around to install it yet.
Hey Mark,
Some questions:
-Can you connect to the wireless lan with any other machines? If you do not have any other machines I would reboot the router (shut off 5 minutes, let it sit and bring it back up).
-Does your router support 802.11b networks? I know that I have turned off b networks...
How much better is Spa flex over something like Braided nylon from BulkReefSupply? I'm guessing that Spa is easier since it can be glued directly to the solid pvc? I've finally getting to my 46g bow build and I need something to attach to the 1.5" and 1" TRU ball values and I don't want to use...
some will argue that adding LR rubble is no different than the bioballs as they too will gather garbage and generate nitrates or nitrites (forget which one). I've seen most recommend nothing in the sump/refum accept for macro algae's and or xenia for nutrient export.
In my 15g I've been doing about a 5g WC every other week.
When I had an aftermarket 240gph pump in my Tunze 9002 it was clean as anything, but with the stock pump it's starting to get a little green but nitrates and nitrites are 0. I have about 13 lbs of LR in the tank.
If you look at them during the night are they open completely?
I noticed that when I started adding zoa's to my tank they were receiving too much light and would not open completely. Actually, even after moving them some of the species still do not open fully accept at night.
It looks like a great deal for buying tank gloves?
If we can get 12 people together + 20% discount we can pick these up for about $20 a pair. The are 23" long.

Other gloves I saw that are worth taking a look at (single...
Hey guys.. I have two nice size hermits hanging out in my BTA. They seem a little too close for comfort and they keep getting stuck and rubbing their large shell in the tentacles. I've noticed that the BTA has been getting brown lately and I'm wondering if that might be related? The "brown"...
I think I used about 1600 mL's in my 32G brutus filled about 2" from the first lip.. Probably about 25 or so gallons.
On that note though.. I noticed that the TMP was in plastic. I just scooped it out without mixing. Since it was soo tightly packaged I was hoping that it didn't shift? Bad move?
hmm.. this is totally legal/legit? The media is not illegal to trade or have a backup copy of, but rather the license key/code. And, the media does not include a code since that's typed in the box or computer.
Perhaps the OS/2 and DOS 5.0 would be considered illegal, but I was only kidding. I...
I had a rock in my 15g that had a bunch of kenya trees on it... They were dropping their leaves and making a mess ( I thought they were dying?).. anyway I used a bone cutter to cut them at the stem and ran the skimmer a little wet. The rock is totally kenya free now.
If you have not seen it, and it hangs out in the same spot, it sounds like it might be a mini-brittle star; although, I've personally only seen really small mini brittles (1/4 arms or less). It might be a regular brittle that is still small. Are the arms hairy or smooth?
Also, serpents are...
Do you have a serpent star?
If I don't feed mine weekly it starts taking out my astrea's and turbos. I was shocked when my wife pointed it out to me the first time. Before I saw it first hand I had lost about 5 turbos that just appeared empty and in place.
When I first started seeing them...
lol Cleaners are easy to catch. Mine always come to me for food and they normally get a free ride around the tank.
Have you seen the shrimp at all?
Keep me updated. If you want, I will buy the trap from you.. that is if it ever catches him :)
I see that you are using a wet/dry .. I started this hobby with a wet/dry with bioballs and removing the balls slowly (1/4 to 1/3 a week) was everyones suggestion for mix-reef tanks.
You might want to add some macro-algae to your sump to remove the nits you are seeing as well.
