Well, now down to 149.....I signed up, but now can't go. If only it was on Saturday. Maybe I'll stop in on Saturday anyway.

    Website updates

I mentioned this once before, and it's still an issue.....when you go to link something, the background color (white), is the same color as the text (white), and it therefore looks like you have nothing there....but it's there. Need to either change the text color or background color.

Joe, thanks...now I'm understanding what you're doing. And Bob, Apex! I run two old school ReefKeeper 2's.....is there a mod for them? :D

    MarsAqua LED Mod

Joe, I was looking at my tank today, with all lights ON, and not overly happy with the look....too white. I have two Apollos, 20K each (pretty blue), not adjustable, short of the two channels, and also have the one Mars Aqua. I'm not sure I understand your wanting more white? I actually...

    NO3-PO4-X users....

Note Marcus that you will need to test for N and P while increasing doses....and once you get your N and P where you want them, that's your magic dose. I'll also agree, once you stop, you will see N and P increasing. But again, a DIY vodka, vodka and vinegar, vodka vinegar and sugar, or...

    NO3-PO4-X users....

I'm not a NOPOX user, but have read a number of forum posts on it. It is simply carbon dosing of vodka and vinegar. You do need to be running a skimmer when using any form of carbon dosing. The one negative is that it could cause a bloom of unwanted bacteria. Best to start slow and then...

    NJ water with 200 TDS

Agree with Ed, 200 sounds normal for this area. Certainly better than Arizona.....1200 and up.

    MarsAqua LED Mod

Wow Joe, I'm surprised! I would have guessed you wanted more blue. Maybe it's just me. The two Apollo fixtures I have are 20K (a bunch of blue)....I think the first channel is all blue for these fixtures....and that's what comes on first for my light cycle. It really makes the corals...

    MarsAqua LED Mod

Not sure if you're wanting more blue, but I also have blue chips remaining that you could have....they are 450-453 blue. They are advertised as Royal Blue 453nm-460nm

Yep! A good soldering iron and a solder sucker is needed......oh, and thermal grease. If you wish, you can borrow mine.
