The bulk of it will be in the buckets you're shaking in. I wouldn't stress about the passive carbon.

Soak and shake in properly salted, heavily dosed water. When you're done shaking, shake some more. Get as many out as possible before dosing the tank. Then you don't have to worry about the die off and you can leave your tank soaking in the FWE without worry. I wouldn't bother with a water...

Interceptor has the chemical component to fight a parasite (red bugs, which are actually yellow with a red head) that infests and irritates Acropora corals (generally the non-fuzzy types like nana).

Of course if you get a Nikon you'll have plenty of help using it. Get a pentax and you won't have anyone around here to look to for answers. ;D

Mike, Thanks for the offer. We do need to make sure that we give at least a year between hosting meetings as there are MANY people in Central clamoring for a meeting (unless we're looking for a host). We'll definitely keep you in mind though, should we need a host and not be able to find one.
