Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
OMG! He's MINE! (Jason, I'm so sorry)! Stan's going to try to make a home for him in his sump until we can make the transfer. UGH.
Hang in there, Fishie!
Melting xenia can definitely kill a tank. The heads you left look ok for now, but if they start to melt like the other ones did, get them out of there. I'd rather see them in a bucket of saltwater with a powerhead if you can't be there to watch over them.
Comments are updated manually from the back end. Old registrations can't be updated from the front end due to the upgrade. I heard this little voice last night saying "Just wait until after Stan's meeting to do the upgrade..." and I wouldn't listen to him. I'm sure he's singing choruses of "I...
Ok... The registration screen upgrade is complete!
I've misplaced the comments from the current meeting information. If I can get them "reattached" for tomorrow I'll put them back, but the improvements out weigh the loss of comments (they're a bit transparent right now, so you'll just have to...
As long as the lots are prior to 2007 you're ok with the existing DOW flake, by the conversations I've read on it. Buy it up now, before the 2007 lots hit the street some time this fall/winter.

If you liked the Lord of the Rings then you'll like the Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. The "first" book is Homeland. It...
My next advice would be to test some TM/TMP or other/next brand you're going to try. I can bring you a bit of salt if you're coming to the meeting on Sunday if you'd like to test TMP.
The surface disturbance is great for gas exchange and will allow the DOC (disolved organic compounds; the film that forms on an undisturbed surface) to get mixed in to your water column, but skimming that DOC off of the surface and spoon feeding it to your skimmer would be a much more efficient...
If the tank is glass then the overflow should be glass. Otherwise you're not guaranteed a seal between the glass tank and the plexi overflow. The teeth on the other hand could be (I believe, double check this with Jason) made of plexi.
Two holes at the bottom of the overflow box provide for a...
