Got the flier in the mail.
Only Perfecto tanks have the $1 per gallon sale and it is only for in-stock 75 gallon tanks (oak or black). Otherwise it's just 20% of their prices.
Oceanic and AGA tanks are "up to" 40% off - whatever that means.
The other deal they have is buy 4 Reef Crystals or...
cyclop-eeze wafers are great for fish. Since they are freeze dried - and do not require refrigeration - it makes for rather convenient feeding. You will need to put the wafer in a small container for the wafer to soak in water - otherwise it will just all float at the top of the tank and into...
i have no exp with the ato's - but if you have the extra cash - a tunze osmolator is a superb ato choice. 5 years - have had 2 of them (one for each tank) and never had a problem.
welcome to the site!
i saw on one of your other posts you were asking about sending a pm. Pms are allowed for folks who meet a minimum post threshold. That doesn't mean though we encourage folks to spam to get to that minimum. This is to prevent spammers from opening an acct and sending pm...
is it like "snot"?
it could be any number of worms.
If they bother you - a "bristle worm" trap might be employed - but for most reef tanks - bristle worms serve as part of the cleanup crew.
But if it's like snot then it might be a vermitid snail. Typically one or two is not a big deal but my...
hope you are ok with this chad - I moved this over to Fish/Fowlr since i think it's no longer an emergency.
LOL....Actually - the fish in the amazon is supposed to inhabit only bigger fish gills - but goes into humans accidentally.
So there is a precedent that you don't necessarily have to...
hmmm - this is a tough one - but the safe rule is NO exceptions.
I kinda agree with this but would be cautious IF your tank had other non-native species. It's rare but possible for a disease that was on say the atlantic royal gramma in the tank - to hop on the pacific clownfish that you plan...
blange3 - because sand rules. ;)
jrwohler - because i like chaeto. ;D
plus anyone that has to arrange a group buy (including the two gents above) - philg, john323, plus anyone else i forgot...thank you!
brian - because behind every great leader is a great wingman (i mean VP). ;)

freaky...it would be even freakier if it has siblings in your tank... :o
amazing that it survived the curing....though maybe it somehow was introduced after?
I was just about to yield and say the pics you posted looked identical...and then I found it:
Also she says so in that same post you linked "I'll be using an Octopus PRO 300S with a predetermined footprint and built the bubbletrap baffles accordingly" ;)
I don't know if they even make this...
i could be wrong but I thought she had a recirc octo - like this:

I just recalled seeing two feeder pumps. She definitely has a octopus skimmer - and yes she likes it a lot - but i don't think she has the extreme series.
