That was a problem with the older 2's and 3's that's why Hydor recalled them. How long ago did you purchase them? I would contact who you got the from and have them switched out for the newer models.

Very nice Mike. I am following at RC but figured I'd post here too. One thing I forgot to mention though, thre is a good possibility they may loose the filaments (cirri) so don't be surprised of they do.

Yeah, lost the maxima after about 3-4 weeks. The crocea is over a month and doing great. About 1/4 inch of new growth on the shell.

You can scrape it off the plastic a little. This will get the spores into the water column where your pumps will spread it around the tank. As Brian said, give it time. Just keep your alk and Ca up and it will take off before you know it.

Thanks Brian. Yes it is a scroll coral. I had to take one of my kenya corals out to make room for it, it's about a 6x6 inch piece.

Looks fantastic Mike. I really like all the detail work you've put into it. Looks like you could park your truck on that thing.

A local glass shop will be able to cut them to the right size for you. Home Depot and Lowes used to do it but not sure if they still do.
