I would avoid the clown and the unicorn. Unicorns get very large and would be even too big for a 300g. Trop has one in their 1600 FOWLR and that is probably the proper size tank. Clowns and sohals get very very very aggressive and can kill other fish with ease. Powder blue or the sailfin...

I have a 45g cube which pretty much nixes all the big angels however I do keep a flame/rusty hybrid in there and he has been a model citizen. I have had other dwarf angels that nipped at everything, but this guy has been pretty good.
