Well, I cannot compare retro to fixture if you know what I mean. I looked at the Tech lights and while the Tech light fixture is wider is has more of a "dead" wasted space on the sides without bulbs. I will also say that the picture he posts in Ebay is a bit deceiving it looks really short but...

I assume they are NOT waterproof, you would have to ask them to be honest I don't know. I will have pics up within the week. Sorry at the momment they are sitting on top of my plastic tub with corals in it. I looked at the Tech lights and I think they are very comparable, and you get the bulbs...

Hey sorry I missed it. I have those lights for my 120. They are made by Catalina Aquarium. You can also call Jim and order them made how you would like directly. EBay is usually a bit cheaper but I liked getting them personalized. Jim Wharton I think has them too and the manager there is named...

Help before I have a disaster.

Thanks I noticed you had the same sort of stand. The only real problem I hear is that the doors are too tight sometimes. The one on my end was hung wrong you could see it so I was able to get it straight, sort of just went into place after a bunch of fiddling. Let me know how yours holds up, if...

    My 1st Saltwater Fish

You can cycle pretty fast. Be slower though Ryan in adding more and more fish. Let your bacteria grow.

Help before I have a disaster.

I have shimmed it up. I discussed it with MikeM and followed his suggestions. Everything worked out there are no bows or anything. I see now my floor is level and then sort of dips unfortunately. I had a small AP in the corner so it was on the level part and I never noticed it. Now I am working...

Help before I have a disaster.

Well it is an Oceanic stand so I think the issue is more my fix then the stand. I need to support the center more which in the front is very easy. I will check to see if I can get the shims in the back as per Mike. If so then I don't think it is a big issue. I am probably freeking out more then...

Help before I have a disaster.

I am not exactly sure I suppose that part of it is. The real problem though is what to do about getting it level. I understand what you are saying but we like the stand. Anyone who can help out I am now getting the water back out. Thanks. James

Help before I have a disaster.

I think it is a pretty high quality stand. It wasn't exactly cheap. Where can I find the rugged foam board?

Help before I have a disaster.

No way to get it in at all the back is solid except for a cable/pipe opening up towards the top.
