I think it is the Elos tank right? What size is it I cannot tell if the picture is at a strange angle or if the tank is smaller then I thought.

Agreed but he already has the 30 in the house. So like the rest of us with a bunch of equipment laying around he is trying to put it to use. In nano tanks I have seen guys use a sponge holder for cheato, is it the best solution no probably not but I think every bit helps.

Where did you get the pond liner? Did you cut it down to size or you could buy the right size?

Good plan on the rock and bio-speria. But hold your horses on the coral. Planning prevents piss poor performance. Tell us what fish you plan on having, what kind of corals, and what lights you have. One florescent light will not support most corals. Patience Grasshopper

If you can yes, create the stable environment and then add the corals. The bacteria colonies should build up as you add additional fish.
