Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The only issue with that (or any part of randomness ) is that you might walk away with a bunch of stuff you already have. That would be an issue for me anyway. I think having a choice makes it interesting.
Looks like a lot of fun! I agree with Mark that corals should be broken down into groups to make selections faster and easier. I'd also suggest having someone other than Mike label them so they're legible. :o
I'd definitely participate.
If you get heavy duty industrial strength Velcro you should be okay. Just don't mount it above water or you have a big problem if the adhesive part ever gives.
If possible, I'd recommend using screws to fasten it.
Hope the Angel is doing ok.(?)
I stopped into Precious Pets on corner of Somerdale Rd & Rte 30, Somerdale (not far from Cherry Hill) and although it's not a very good SW fish store, they had an entire row of treatments for fresh and saltwater fish. It's funny, I was thinking of you and your...
1st off, I agree with Paul. Trade her in for a reef tank lover!
Seriously though, any chance you could make a stand that would allow you to stack one on top of the other? You could put the fresh one below since it wouldn't require any special needs for lighting. This would work out even...
+1 Looks like a spirorbid to me also. Harmless filter feeders that will help clean your water. These grow in tubes similar to the vermitid snails. The vermitids are also generally harmless but can irritate corals with their debris collecting webs. If you have any vermitids near corals, try to...

Aww, that's really sad Sandee. Such a shame that such a beautiful fish had to go through this.
It doesn't sound like any of the other fish would do something like this, but I guess you never know.
Might want to keep a fish cam or two pointed at this tank to see if you can spot any aggression...
Cool stuff. I think you guys are misundertstanding something though... It said there were specimens of this species taken back in 1995 and 1998, and those were put in formaldehyde. It doesn't say whether they killed these newly collected specimens or not... and I'm guessing they didn't.
My nephews showed me this video yesterday (one is in high school, the other in college). When we first started watching it, there was a lil over 4 million viewers. By the time it was done (1/2 hour) there were over 7 million! Wow, this is really taking off.
I was actually going to start a...
