Brandon, I talked my wife into that 18" deep version of your tank. Question? Did you get the matching stand also". What's your opinion on the deep blue stand.
The north is more like Canada. Nobody really cares about them. The shore Should be another state or at least a borough of NY.
I believe The purple is more for look as it adds a bit more of the spectrum that the others don't reach. As for growth the purple does not have much to offer.
Brandon,
Was that the cost with stand or tank only. I like very much I was eyeing one up at allquatics that they used during the swap. Though I might consider the 18" deep
I just checked BRS. Im at work and very bored. If you have perferred status it would cost $121 for 3 Blue+,1 Purple+, and 2 Coral + bulbs. Less if you wait for the group buy. More if you want the KZ purple instead of ATI purple.
Another thought would be to get into the Bulk Reef Supply group buy AJ has going on, and order from them. With that many bulbs you would probably not have to pay shipping. That will probably be the cheapest route. Or Fish Factory in Bristol,PA has them, or at least they did when I was last...
Thanks Jim & Ray
Yeah the pic sucks. it was 4:30 this morning. hold a flashlight and my iPhone. Defiinatly not a stomatella, those I know. They appear mostly off white in color with some brownish/tan stripes. After checking some things Im really leaning toward the collonista snail but tonight I...
Had to wake up early for work today and I got a look at my tank at 4:30am. I counted 21 of these guys.
What kind of snails are they, are they collonista's? All are about the 1/2 the size of a pea and smaller. Needless to say I have never added them myself. I have never noticed them before...
I was just thinking of that very thing about the two different size overflows. Might think about that. As far as the pump to match the flow goes, I would not even think about that. Too risky. I guess easiest would just be pump water from sump to fuge and overflow back to sump.
Like I said this...
Most likely. Its a ways out as far as the build goes, so the 20's gonna be around for awhile. I like the nano but I gotta take the upgrade when i can get it. Of course my son keeps asking me to put coral in his freshwater tank. So maybe I just give the nano to him.
Unforyunatly no sketch yet George.
My thoughts here are more for getting the extra equipment out of the sump. However would having a smaller pump in the overflow section of the sump pumping water to the fuge the overflowing back to the sump make more sense? After reading the above responses...
My wife has given me her blessing and I am now in the planning stages of a 75gal build. I intend to also have a display fuge with all the bells and whistles tied into the system. My intentions are to run it as follows:
Instead of buying a reef ready tank it is my intention to drill I want to...
I just read my post. Sounds like I'm illiterate. What I meant to ask was, if you still have those containers available, I would love to get a couple also. Thx again
Hijack over
Sorry for hijack guys. Bax after you take care of Mike is it possible you could gets a couple of those also. I live south but work in Elizabeth so I could pick up from you in Sayreville. Thanks in advance.
John
I must disagree here. I think part of the concept and fun here is that you have to look over a table full of containers in no particular order, that for the most part you can't see into. All you have is name to go by. Makes it more challanging. I think the randomness of the whole setup is the...
Seems that way. I would think that most would be will to offer up a few frags from their collection for the oppertunity to gain a few from someone elses. Also in the vid they stated that a few sponsers also sent frags, colonys, and gift certificates to add to the mix.
