Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
What we did for a 40 breeder sump was first determine what was going in each section and than make those sections big enough to fit that stuff. The first section was 6 ½ inches to fit an ASM skimmer. The refugium was 17 inches wide. And the return section was only 6 inches wide….Enough room to...
Being 100% of Irish descent, its great to see one of our people in the White House again. Not since Jack have we had the Irish connection. And now Ill guess well have to change the Irish drinking toast, God invented whiskey so the Irish wouldn't rule the world....I'll drink to that! ;D
Congratulations on your catch of fish!
I still can’t believe you had two sixlines in a 75g….and both are still alive. That’s the “success” story, in my eyes. Wow!
Now the big question…where are they now?
According to RC’s above build instructions, a six foot tank requires 2 x 6 upper braces while all other framing members are 2 x 4.
Here’s Onefish’s “Tale of the Tank” thread were he built the RC frame for a five foot tank...

I didn't know you were an attorney.
I might need your help. I have my foot caught in my toilet, and there was no label stating I couldn't put my foot in there to unclog the bugger. Do I have a case? ;D Or am I in deep....?
We took advantage of the warm weather yesterday and popped two holes in the glass. Good news, the glass wasnt tempered. Not having polarized film, onefish commented that if this tank shatters, will just buy a new 75. With drill in hand, we popped two holes into the back of the tank. I guess...
Sure sounds like something funky with the water.
Is she using a hydrometer or refractometer for measuring salinity? Either way, I would see if you could borrow another refractormeter to see if your salinity is in line.
What volume of water is she changing?
Does she also heat up her water to...
