Wendy Welcome back,we sure would of missed ya!! By the way as always yr tank looks fantastic...glad to see Im not the only one who lets there tank sunbathe ;D
Ive used the plastic coating spray paint( the one Paul rec) and also krylon recently came out with one that works well too for wood metal and plastic. But I also came across www.kjmagnetics.com they sell all kinds of magnets including plastic coated ones, all shapes and sizes gd luck
maybe try silversides or mollies or guppies...the freshwater fish wouldnt last long in saltwater, unless you slowly acclimated them which is a pain..gd luck
Thanks Rod, and yes he was by the others as/when he lost his color, but to date he is eating well and seems just fine now :) I dont soak any of the food for any of the fish, but I do put 4 differant algeas in the tank for all the tangs. Thanks for everyones help and ideas.
Im not familiar with the pump you have but maybe its a bad imp have you tried taking it apart? I have a few mag pumps hangin around(if we're close enough) we could work something out to keep you up and running for the moment. What size tank do you have? cause I also have a pump(external) that was...
I think the pic you asked what it was...a St Thomas mushroom? by the way nice pics..and good luck with the flame angel, hope it wasnt like mine...it loved "pickin" at corals..
I wouldnt say leds can substitute for t5's or halides, maybe supplement as moon lights would be great..Im gonna try them soon as my last lights on type of thing...
wasnt late lights were on- normal things, aside from his white appearance, and the powder blue and clown and hippo were fine( I use them as my early warning signs) But now I came home to find the purple tang just fine....really weird,it didnt look good yesterday at all...*whew* ???
Last night my purple tang looked like it was losing color, almost like its pigments were falling off and he's swimming in circles..everyones eating and everything seems fine, except for the pueple tang...Thanks for any help/ideas
Never had mine move, but when I moved it manually, the same thing happened. Also had that happen with a bubble coral, guess I left a lil pc behind, now I have a quarter size bubble :)
