I have a blue linka,been with me for over 2 yrs,I've never directly fed him,to be honest not even sure what he eats,my 90 gal reef is up for 6 yrs maybe that helps.Good luck if you decide to get the orange :)
Im with John on the crabs,never did what they were s'possed to do and most of the time became a nuisance.I had alot of bubble algea too,but with good maint/mechanical removal I finally have it all under control.This is just IMO..good luck in the future
I use it and its great,better than carbon,doesnt alter ph,or burn gills on fish,"polishes" the water to look like glass...you wont be dissapointed.250 ml is plenty for yr nano,I use 250ml in my 90 gal.Oh,and by the way you can renew it in bleach/water overnight,then empty that solution and soak...
I like the mag pumps,I have them on alot of my equiptment,my 90 gal reef is up 6 yrs now,and cant say Ive had a prob with it yet,this tank is up 6 yrs or so.If your buying mag pumps used,just check and make sure the inside isnt "scored"...gd luck hope this helps some :)
Gene,long time no hear...glad yr still in the hobby..stop by when ya get a sec,I have a nano type tank and a small octogon type with stand..by the way I built a calfo"sorta-kinda" type of overflow for the 125...catcha later
Coming along well,we use the Varanda decking here and the buildings are brick,despite what they say the boards do bend and twist,get pretty hot too.Also the township said for code they need to be installed with spaces between the boards..*sighs* hope they dont make us re-install the 40+ decks...
I was wondering if its possible to remove scratches in a glass tank? I've seen the kits that sell for around $40,but wanted to get others opinion on this...thanks :)
