So I took 300 pictures today and trimmed it down into the 80s. That is what happens when you don't take pics for a while and everything is going pretty well. I will start with the DT:

14g is a tough size for wrasses, especially ones that are beneficial to corals. Here is an article on possum wrasses, they can be quite striking in color and would be better for a smaller tank. They are not active crazy swimmer which is why you could get away with one in a 14g...
This looks like something we could all use somewhere in the hobby. Just don't know how it would affect fish and corals.

They do better in pairs and are more adventurous when in pairs. Now that the one is a single it might not come out as much. Give it time though, as monroereefer said it might have just been a molt and they take a little time for their shells to harden and then venture back out.
So wrasses are healthy and good to go. Screen top has been fixed and the components are on the way for the floating canopy. Pics this weekend considering we are not going anywhere.
Agreed if you are going acans/chalices then t5s are the way to go. I have leds over my display but I will never give up my t5s over my frag tank. I have had great growth and color under them and would be hard pressed to give them up.
