Slow down with the dosing. You want to dose that amount over like 5 days. Rapid swings are worse then having low alk so bring it up slowly. I made that mistake so that is why I am telling you.

Go with a pair of wrasses. Reef safe, will do fine in that tank.

Do you have any sand sifting snails (nassarius, ceriths) or blue leggs? Diatoms are a brown type thing that you will get when you setup a tank or add new sand or rocks (basically it feeds off of silicates so eventually it goes away unless you add them through tap water). I tend to get it in...

Are you sure that is cyano and not diatoms? What is your CUC and I see the vortech, but what is the flow like?

Aim for 1.026 that is natural sea water and what is pretty universally recommended to keep your tank at. I learned this lesson last year, long story short my refractometer was off so my salinity was off. This led to massive swings in alk and calc which led to coral death. Now I keep it locked...

Check your salinity ASAP and make sure it is inline. Also bump the radions down. 5% a week is good ramping, 15% at once can cause some issues.
