What sort of macro algae do you have in the fuge? If you block the light from entering the DT then reverse light cycle lighting is not an issue...well unless it is in your bedroom then it is. Cheato does not need a 24 hr light cycle.

Re: Jasonanatal's 120 gallon "Natural Simplicity" Reef Aquarium. Test for Silicates.....and try to lower your temp just a little.

I am getting one Phil...I think for the cost it is worth it. Let me know if you get one which one you decide on.

I agree I figured I was pushing my luck in a 120 ... but after QT he has relaxed a lot. So from personal experience they do freak out in a smaller tank. THIS is however a great excuse to upgrade. ;D

Where did you get the tubs?

First you are a wizard with the graphics. Second I have a stand with doors on the ends....I think that makes it much easier. If you have open ends then the middle support is not a problem...just slide the sump in from the end or both ends if you want. Plus then maintance on whatever end you are...

As most people here will make friends if someone gives you a bad time just privately let them know. This isn't a RC sized community and if word spreads it won't take long. This is just my opinion, someone did it for me and although the sale worked out I was at least warned. Glad for the heads up...

This is a great idea...I have mine right in line with the power head...sort of like a treadmill for tangs.
