I believe amps are watts times volts. You have maybe ~600 watts there. Divide that by 110 (standard AC power in the house), and you really need ~5 amps total. Maybe some more for overhead. I work with mainly 12v, though, so could be off on something there. Either way, you'll have plenty of...

One time a dog like that wouldn't let me and my son out of our car when it died in someone's driveway back up in maine. We were there for days before we could get a jump on it, being totally terorized by the dog. Or maybe that was a movie... ;)
