Yeah treat bag in hand, shaking it like a mad woman and the dog 4 feet from me she ran the other way. I even tried running in the other direction. That was when I lost sight of her and couldn't pick her back up again. It was getting dark and she was mud brown. Bad combination!

www.autotopoff.com sells the one we have.

The collar I'm looking at has a vibration only mode that will merely help her focus/listen when she's called (hey what's that buzzing in my ear). It isn't actually a shock collar (unless you need to escellate because they're in danger). It is human controlled, not a fence system. This way when...

Yup. That's what we're thinking. The shock collar so that she has to come back to us. Are you talking about the Dogtra?

    Kalk/calcium reactor

We push water from a holding tank so it is pumped into the reactor and flows out. We have a solonoid to prevent siphon/back siphon in the wrong situation.

    RPE's

I've never seen them split that way. That's interesting.

    i need lfs suggestions

Ocean Gallery II, Aquatic Obsessions and Red Sand are the club sponsors that are closest to your area. I'm not from up there so I'm not familiar with any of the non-sponsor stores.

Her name is Zenni. Not sure it makes such a great fish name! We certainly appreciated the help!

    Sulfur Denitrator: Who's running one?

Is it possible that something else (your kalk reactor) caused the milky? I didn't see anything like that while we were running it.

    Coralline Algae

Diatoms are caused by silicates. Phosphates cause a different set of evils. Coraline comes in time. No worries. It will come eventually.

Thanks so much, Ed! Poor guy showed up here to pick up out some rock and instead he went on the Grand Dog Chase all around Jackson. Thanks so much for your help chasing down the dog, Ed. It was a big relief knowing we had eyes all around trying to help find our free running spirit. We owe ya...

    Kalk/calcium reactor

We fill it about 1/3. We stir every 6 hours. I've never measured the eff out of our reactor so I don't know if that is low or right on!

That first one is really beautiful, regardless of what it is called.

    Kalk/calcium reactor

Try just the Ka reactor first. Get that running and then add in the Ca reactor to close any gap (but make sure there IS a gap first).

    I'm alive too! ; )

Erna! Great to hear from you! I was just wondering how everyone was doing myself. And as if things weren't crazy enough... you bred your dog on purpose?! LOL! You crazy woman! Sorry to hear about your FO problems, not to mention the PTA problem. I thought for sure you'd licked those. Looking...

    Kalk/calcium reactor

We're using both as well. I'm sure a lot of people do. The Ka helps bring the PH back up after the Ca drops it! Unfortunately I'm not sure what advice you need nor how I could help. Was either one running by itself first? Or are you trying to configure both at once?

Reef Lobsters?? This can't be good.

We got some REALLY cool shrimp. Hawaiian and another type. They're really neat. We had a purple reef lobster. He didn't survive long enough to become a problem, but in time I'm sure he would have. He never knocked anything over, but we never saw it.

What the Efflo ? ID Please

Efflo. A bit on the bleachy side. I'd put it low in the tank until it colors back up.

    Rare Red Lobster.

Very cool Greg. Did you catch him?! If so, where?
